Logistics for Morris Island Drop Off

This is a completely self-guided adventure! During your excursion, your group will be on the island for 3-4 hours, and sometimes longer. You will have the opportunity to explore the island and have fun creating your own experience. Remember to bring along any supplies you may need to ensure your comfort during your time on the island. It is suggested to pack essentials like sunscreen, water, snacks, and any beach gear you desire, such as towels, beach chairs, or umbrellas. These provisions will ensure that you can fully immerse yourself in the island’s experience and create unforgettable memories. 

We can take you to either the Lighthouse Side or Cumming Point (on the harbor by Fort Sumter) where you can walk one way or half way down the island and back. Whichever path you choose, be prepared for a remarkable journey filled with breathtaking vistas, intriguing wildlife, and the soothing soundtrack of waves crashing against the shore. As you traverse the island, take your time to relish the hidden treasures you encounter along the way — perhaps an exquisite seashell, a vibrant piece of sea glass, or the remnants of a fascinating historical artifact. It is important to keep in mind that once you have been dropped off on Morris Island, we are unable to provide transportation back to Folly Island before your scheduled pickup time. The tour schedule is intricately planned around the pick-ups and drop-offs of other scheduled tours, our ability to accommodate unscheduled returns is limited. Rest assured that we make every effort to ensure that the logistics align smoothly, allowing for a seamless experience. We will only run this tour if it works out logistically. Please understand that the decision to proceed with this tour is contingent upon its feasibility within our logistical framework. While we strive to offer this adventure whenever possible, there may be circumstances where it cannot be conducted due to unforeseen constraints. However, if the conditions permit, we will eagerly provide you with the opportunity to embark on this captivating self-guided exploration of Morris Island.

In light of these considerations, it is crucial to be well-prepared for a duration of approximately 3-4 hours on the island. This time frame allows you ample opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the island’s wonders, enabling you to embrace its tranquility and uncover its hidden gems at your own pace.
