The Live Like a Local Private Dolphin & Coastal Eco Tour is a relaxed, private experience aboard a 25-foot 2020 NauticStar, La Sirena, for up to 6 guests. Departing from Folly Beach, this tour focuses on exploring the quieter waterways of the Lowcountry at an cruisy pace, with room to follow what’s happening on the water that day.

We always keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins, which are commonly seen along the Folly River and surrounding estuaries. Depending on tides and conditions, the route may include areas near Morris Island and its historic lighthouse, or winding through tidal creeks and open water where wildlife activity is best.

When conditions allow, we may spend time on Morris Island exploring the shoreline, looking for shells, and occasionally spotting shark teeth. The experience is flexible and shaped by the day, or your interest rather than a fixed itinerary.

As we cruise, your local captain shares stories about the landscape, wildlife, and maritime history of the area, from Civil War defenses, pirates to the ecology of the marsh and the rhythms of coastal life. This tour is personal and designed to feel like a true local day on the water.
