Our Sunset Dolphin Tour is an evening, golden-hour experience designed to slow things down and enjoy Charleston’s waterways as the day winds down. Departing from Folly Beach approximately two hours before sunset, this tour focuses on relaxed cruising, marsh views, and watching the Lowcountry magically change colors as the sun drops toward the horizon.

This is not a daytime exploration tour. While we always keep an eye out for dolphins, the emphasis here is being on the water at sunset, not checking off a specific itinerary. Every trip is shaped by the conditions, wildlife activity, and the overall vibe of the evening.

We operate this sunset cruise using both of our larger boats, welcoming up to 36 total guests across the experience. Depending on tides and conditions, we may cruise near areas like Morris Island—or simply stay on the water and enjoy the view.

On the ride back, the mood often shifts into a fun, easygoing sunset soundtrack. Think 80’s yacht rock, Jimmy Buffett, and feel-good coastal classics. Sometimes that turns into a little dance party, sometimes it’s just toe-tapping and smiling at the sky. Either way, it’s a relaxed, end-of-day celebration—never forced, never too wild.
